Pilgrims are the major workforce in SULagos Area. However, 139 Secondary school teachers and 79 Children Teachers are currently serving as volunteers. We also engage the services of 11 full time missionaries to facilitate effective school visitation..
Prayer support
If we have faith, our prayers will be answered This is Jesus’ promise to us, found in Matthew 21. Whatever your circumstance, we want to pray for you. We believe fervently in the power of prayer.
Bible Reading Promotion
Deriving understanding in reading God’s word is vital to the soul. Knowing that the Bible is God’s word and that carnal mind can not understand the things of the Spirit, mortal man must ever utilize the avenue of prayer in asking for the Spirit’s help to understand scriptures.
School Groups/Fellowship
Working with the churches and Schools Scripture Union aims, to make God’s Good News known to children, young people and families and to encourage people of all ages to meet God daily through the Bible and prayer, so that they may come to personal faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.
THE GREAT COMMISSION
Then Jesus came to them and said, all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. 2021 EASTER RETREAT IJEDE LAGOS
The 2021 SU Lagos Area Easter Retreat ..will be twenty two years old from the period it was created from the old Lagos Area. We are currently made up of 10 Zones with 61 Pilgrim Groups and 4 new Groups that are being nurtured. Adult members popularly referred to as pilgrims in Nigeria meet regularly for training and development to effectively minister to children and young people.
